Introduction: Server Admin

It has came to my attention that the presence of cheaters and lamers in our public gameservers is critical. In past we did a report system involving our live-chat operators. With your reports many cheaters and lamers were banned but of course live-chat operators can't be online 24/7. Now people started reporting game related facts in our support ticket system that really has no moderation function. However we also received many feedbacks and suggestions. Our public gameservers are well known and they became a place where players want to stay and have fun so we decided to give the opportunity to the most reliable players to become Server Admins (full server admin privileges in the server). They will keep it clean.

If you want to apply for this role reply to this post. Please note that this proposal is only open to players with no clan (but we can make exceptions) that can talk/understand English so if you are in a clan don't post. You have to be a free player (no tags, no clan, no team) and you have to know how to deal with other players. We are not looking for the fastest kick/ban SA in the world. We are looking for players that enjoy the game and want to help in keep it clean from lamers and a nice place to stay.

UPDATE 22/08/11. From this moment we can make an exception for clan members. If you are a member of a clan you can now post you applcation. Please note that we are very selective for players with clan.

How to speed up your SA application

We discuss all applications of this thread together with our current Server Admins to ensure that you are good for this role. It may take some days but there are also cases where we have no sufficient elements to take a decision. The best way to speed up the process and receive a reply is that you join our XFire Group (use this direct link to join) and get in touch with other players and Server Admins. Show them that you are good for this role.

How to report abuse

To report abuse of SA please submit a ticket including the following details:

• When the event has occurred (date/time) e.g. 12-02-11 20:55 [CET] Swat4 DE 1.1
• Short description
• Attach screenshot if necessary

Hi. I am not applying to be admin, but am just here to say that it would be a HUGE mistake should you appoint the user "Fast Eddie" as an admin. He is one of the most rudest people I have ever met, you just need to view the chat logs to see the numerous examples. He proclaims to "hate foreigners, in particular pakistanis" and is a 49 year old who earns £20k+ a year, despite playing the game and insulting for over 15 hours a day and boasting that he is "hard". Is this guy for real? Please, I heavily advise you to not accept this proposal from him, if it happens I may have to avoid visiting your lag-free servers again. Thank you.

Hey,

my nickname is .LiMiTeD.<3 and I'm from Germany. I play 1.1 on both servers (IT/DE) and already managed several (>5) servers from different clans. I'd say that I have some good skill in catching cheaters thanks to my almost 5 years of experience in S4. I already reported many cheaters to the live-support and would like to help you getting rid of those noobs which ruin my / our daily game experience. I think that I spend about 8-10 hours a week on the revhosting servers, 20 on S4 at all.

yes, i have been an admin on serwers like uf and other ones that i lost count on. Ibeen playing s4 for 3.5
So i have lots of expierience. I can speak english, polish and bit of french.

How long do you play swat4? since 2005 till today but many clans server are shuted down .... here i think will be nice when sometimes early mornig or late night when I playing and other ppl and admin will be on server ==== i met here lot of cheaters buggers and bad behaviour so i think another admin will be good choice to keep server clean

I've downloaded a markmod, and a programe in which i can type " kick cc menu" into the console, and it brings up a box, with admin, and one with spectate, and yes, i hate cheaters, i'm not a cheater, and i will never ban without taking screenshot.

•How long do you play swat4? I've played since i was 10. ( 4 years ago). but i useally play 100 hours per week!..

• Other Infomation: I'm 14, I smoke. I've got a good education, and a good temper, i'm fair to alll people. I'm currently not in any recruiting clan.. I'm not a cheater. I've used them, so i can reconise a cheater.. I'm pro at playing normal mode, and only taser mode.

Also, fast_Eddie i played with. I had like 10 arrests.. and then like he got annoyed i think. And when i tased the SWAT ( i was sus) , he took out his cuffs and arrested him.. He did this 5 times. So i got sick of it.. if he was admin he would'nt be very nice.. No offence by the way eddie. If anybody wants to add me. or talk to me, or even have a round in swat against-with me.. contact me.. on theese

NOW,NOW- COME ON GUYS , this is getting ridiculous, can you tell me whats going on, you say i tased you and steal arrests 5 times - when was this, because i have never played that way, i dont cheat and certainly dont steal arrests - i have been playing this game for a long time and always go by the rules , are you aware that there is another guy that uses my name or goes by the name of Fast_Ediee - with 2 ee`s, he was on yesterday and kept teamtasing me, this needs to be sorted out as i dont want to have a bad name for something i didnt do ! - also i dont recognise your name at all

Hm it seems I made a mistake with Eddie; there are indeed I think 3 different users who purposely use his name (but spell it slightly different) and then create havoc on the server. Checking IPs im sure will further prove this, as one of the "Eddies" couldnt even speak english to me today, whilst I know the real one can.
